These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of apidoke.com and the Apidoke documentation platform (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The service

Apidoke is a browser-based tool for writing, previewing and publishing interactive API documentation in the open API Blueprint format, with a built-in try-it console and per-project version history. We offer a free tier and Apidoke is also self-hostable. We may add, change or remove features over time.

Your account

  • You must provide accurate information when you register and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
  • You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country to use the Service.
  • Let us know promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

Acceptable use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

  • Break the law or infringe the rights of others, including intellectual property rights.
  • Publish documentation or content that is illegal, fraudulent, deceptive or harmful.
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
  • Use the try-it console or any documented API in a way that violates that API's own terms, or to target systems you do not have permission to access.
  • Use automated means to abuse the Service beyond reasonable, published limits.
  • Resell or redistribute the hosted Service as your own.

Your content

You keep all rights to the documentation, API Blueprint source, data and other content you create or upload ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you, for example to save your projects, render the reference, and serve any documentation you choose to publish. You are responsible for Your Content and for having the rights to use any text, examples or data you include.

We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we provide it on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time, and we may set or change usage limits. We are not responsible for any loss caused by downtime, maintenance or changes to features.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. You are responsible for verifying that your published documentation is correct before you rely on it or share it with others.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Apidoke will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that could harm other users, us or third parties.
